Our Mission Statement
Glorify God…
Above all, we seek to glorify (praise, exalt, magnify) God. We do this through enthusiastic worship and fervent prayer. We have a vibrant music program that includes a contemporary worship service on Sunday mornings, multiple Worship teams with talented singers and musicians. Our Friday night prayer meetings and Sunday morning times of prayer help us focus our thoughts on our great Savior, Jesus Christ.
“Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.” (Psalm 63:3-4 NIV)
Edify the Body…
This means to strengthen the Body of Believers in Jesus Christ (the Church). We do this by sound teaching that is Biblically based. All our program and other studies prepare us to witness to others for the week ahead.
“If you are praising God with your spirit, how can one who finds himself among those who do not understand say “Amen” to your thanksgiving, since he does not know what you are saying? You may be giving thanks well enough, but the other man is not edified.” (1 Corinthians 14:16-17 NIV)
“For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.” (Romans 15:4 NIV)
Reach the Lost…
We seek to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ, which states: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20 NIV)
Our motivation to save non-believers is this: “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23 NIV)
We have this assurance that, if we are saved, we have a place in Heaven: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9 NIV)
