Statement of Faith

Our beliefs and doctrine can be read in the Baptist Faith and Message. Some of our primary beliefs are:

  1. That the Bible is the revealed truth from God without any error and that it is relevant to our daily lives.
  2. That there is one God who always has and always will exist in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
  3. That the forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life are assured to those who trust Christ as Lord and Savior.
  4. That Baptism is an act of obedience which symbolizes one’s new life with Christ as Savior and Lord.
  5. That the Church is the Body of Christ on earth and exists to lift up Jesus before all people, to prepare Christians for daily living and service to others and to convince other people who do not know Jesus of their need to receive Christ and God’s forgiveness.
